We’re a Step Closer to Affiliating
We cleared a huge hurdle earlier this week at CVPH even though most people would consider it a nonevent. The necessary paperwork was submitted to the state and federal governments seeking approval for Community Providers, Inc. and its two hospitals, CVPH and Elizabethtown Community Hospital to affiliate with Fletcher Allen Health Care and Central Vermont Medical Center under the banner of Fletcher Allen Partners. When we first announced the affiliation discussions on March 27, we said that we hoped everything would be wrapped up by the end of the year. That schedule still stands.
